Joining your project

Our engineers join your team and build with you. We can also make proposals from the planning stage and provide technical support. This works well for projects where you would rather figure things out together on the ground than fix every spec before ordering.

OVERVIEW

Overview

An engineer who knows XR, game engines, and how to make good use of AI joins your project as a member of the team, much like a forward deployed engineer (FDE). We can also support your project on an ongoing basis as a technical advisor.

  • Development with game engines such as Unity and Godot
  • Advice on XR architecture and choosing hardware and technology
  • Meta Quest support and performance tuning
  • Technical support for your existing development team
Compared with custom development

We can join before the spec is settled

With custom development, we agree on the spec and schedule and deliver the finished work. When we join your project, we work as part of your team for a set period and shape the work with you as we go. If you are not sure which fits, just ask.

CONTRACT

Ways to work with us, and cost

Both are under a quasi-mandate contract (jun-inin keiyaku). Our engineer decides how to carry out the work, and we keep in touch with you through regular meetings and chat.

Engineer on your team

Based on the period and working days

Anywhere from a few days a week to full time, including long projects of around six months to a year. We quote on a monthly basis.

Note: We are not currently taking on new requests to place engineers on your team.

Technical advisor

Advisory contract

Our CEO, who has worked on more than 50 XR projects, joins your meetings and supports your project on the technical side. We quote based on how often and how widely you need us.

How it works

  1. Contact us

    Send us an email.

  2. NDA and discussion

We sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and, in parallel, hear about your project and the role you need filled.

  3. Proposal and quote

We propose the scope, period, and days per week, and send a quote.

  4. Contract

    We sign a quasi-mandate contract.

  5. Joining and building

We join your team and start building, sharing progress in regular meetings.

  6. Review and renewal

At each milestone we look back together and decide whether to continue and how many days to work.
